Project Overview

Little Shelf is a subscription-based service aimed at cultivating a love for reading in children from an early age. By curating boxes of age-appropriate books, toys, and activities, Little Shelf seeks to create a joyful and educational experience for both children and parents. The project focuses on fostering curiosity, imagination, and cognitive development through curated content and personalized subscriptions.

Problem Statement

Despite the importance of early literacy development, many children lack exposure to quality books and educational materials. Additionally, the fast-paced consumer culture often promotes a disposable mindset towards children’s products, leading to a lack of appreciation for reading and learning. Little Shelf aims to address these challenges by providing carefully selected books and activities that promote a love for reading and learning, while also encouraging sustainability and long-term engagement with literature.

Our Approach

Our approach to the Little Shelf project involves curating content tailored to the developmental stages of children. We prioritize continuous communication and feedback from subscribers to personalize each subscription. Sustainability is emphasized through promoting a “keep and cherish” mentality towards children’s books and toys.
